“And the LORD said unto Samuel… I will send thee to Jesse… for I have provided me a king among his sons.” (1 Samuel 16: 1).
God commanded Samuel to go to Bethlehem and anoint a new King; God also made it clear that He was done with Saul as King of Israel. God had David in mind, and He ensured that David and no one else was anointed as King of Israel. Even when Samuel thought Eliab should be King, God interrupted Him. God directed the process.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: the process of your greatness shall be divinely directed, and no man will change what God has written and determined concerning you. God will direct the affairs of your lifting until you are lifted; God will keep your next level under lock and key until you get there; God will ensure that your competitors do not take your portion when you are not there; God will direct the plot of your lifting.
Eliab showed up before David, but he was not anointed because God would not let that happen. As God directs the affairs of your lifting, even those who came before you cannot take your place; as God presides over your destiny upgrade, rivals can even have advantages over you, but they can’t take your place; as God presides over your elevation, there will be no mistakes.
Don’t break your head on account of the competitors of your destiny; don’t even bother when rivals become haters. If God be for you, there will be no contrary directive concerning your portion, no man shall take what was reserved for you, no power of hell shall divert your inheritance, and no opposition will overturn what the Lord already destined for you.
Focus on God and forget the hangers on; they can come before you and even be more qualified than you if they wish, but the God who directs the affairs of men will direct and preside over your elevation.
Daniel 4: 17 says: “…the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.”
*Declare With Me: God presides over my elevation; no man shall take my place, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
