BEWARE OF SATAN’S FOOD

We need to beware of Satan‘s Food.

You know what food is and its’s importance to the body.

When you eat the right food, you stay healthy. And when you eat the wrong/poor food, you become sick.

The kind of food you eat on daily basis, determines your growth and health.

Just like our bodies need physical food to get energy to keep going, so also do we need spiritual food to keep the soul going too.

There are 2 kinds of Spiritual foods in this spiritual race. They are:
God’s Food
Satan’s Food

GOD’S FOOD.

1 Timothy 4: 6 – …” Feed yourself spiritually on the words of faith and of the true teaching which you have followed”..

The word of God (the Bible) is the real food which every Christian should eat daily to keep healthy and to be strong to fight our adversary, the devil.

God’s word is very rich and is the right food to eat. lt delivers one from bondage and sets people free.

Feed yourself with this kind of food (God’s word), give it to your family daily and introduce others to eat it too

Bible is our spiritual food! And Real spiritual eating inwardly satisfies us and strengthens us to live a normal Christian life.

Remember, you become what you eat.
When you feed yourself with the word of God, read spiritual books, use things of God, follow people of God, dwell your mind on Heavenly things, and do the work of God, there is no way you will not be Holy, that even sin will be afraid to get close to you.
(E.g)
-When people are trying to sow bad seed in your place of work, they will not involve you.
-When people are gossiping or discussing bad things and you come there, they will keep quiet. They will tell you to your face that this one is not meant for your ears.

Our souls are designed to be nourished by God’s rich food, so that we may escape from the destructive lust of this world. (2 Peter 1:4; 1Tim 4:6).

SATAN’S FOOD

“For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh…”. (Romans 8:5)
When feeding the body, one may decide to take either a ’Healthy Food’ or a ‘Junk Food’.

The healthy food/right food, adds nutrients to the body, while the junk food contributes to the breaking of the body over time b.c it is very toxic to the body

Satan’s food is likened to junk foods. It destroys the soul over time.

WHAT ARE SATAN’S FOOD?

You will find them in Galatians 5:19-21
they are:-
🔻impurity
🔻indecency.
🔻enmity
🔻 jealousy
🔻anger (ill temper)
🔻divisions (dissensions)
🔻party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies)
🔻Envy.
🔻 drunkenness
🔻carousing, and the like.
🔹 I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Satan’s food is everywhere, on TV, radio, streets, offices, some books.etc
🔸They are heavily marketed
🔸Usually, they are attractively packaged.
🔸They seem tasty, even though are not truly rich food.
🔸 is very convenient.

Yes, Satan’s Food seems to be everywhere, but is always disappointing, b.c it brings guilt, shame, emptiness and death at the end.

Always strive not to be allured to eat Satan’s food no matter it’s attractiveness 🙏.

Runaway from Satan’s food.

…Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. ( James 4:7)

Many believers today, are unstable like water, due to constant eating of Satan’s food.

When you eat Satan’s food, you will be a slave to sin and a slave to all problems….like the Eli’s Sons in 1 Samuel 2:22-25.

“Now Eli was very old, and he heard all that his sons did to all Israel and how they lay with the women who served at the door of the Tent of Meeting….(Vs. 22)
And he said to them, Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all the people…..(Vs. 23)

If one man wrongs another, God will mediate for him; but if a man wrongs the Lord, who shall intercede for him? Yet they did not listen to their father, for it was the Lord’s will to slay them….(Vs.25)”🔸🤷

When you refuse Satan’s food, no matter your needs, God will still lift you high. (Romans 8:28).

The good Concern

God’s primary concern for us is that we would be living and growing, by eating the word of God as our food.

🔹”Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth . (2 Timothy 2:15).”

🔹”Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers. (3 John 1:2).”

🔹”For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. (Jeremiah 29:11).”

🔹”I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well-pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. (Romans 12:1)”

When God Commands

When God gives you a command, what do you do with it?
Do you hide in a corner?
Do you do only Sunday Sunday worship?
When you don’t obey God’s word, you have eaten Satan’s food.

How many friends have you destroyed both physically and spiritually?
👉Have you caused Christians to fall?
👉Do you give bad advice?
👉Do you terminate pregnancies or advise anyone to do so? Or show them where or how to do that?
👉Do you tell lies in the name of God?
👉How about discouraging people from donating money to the church of God?
👉Do you intentionally run away from the work of God?
👉Do you kill, rape, steal, and fight all the time?
👉Are you one of those who turn the church upside down?
👉And are you among those who hear the word of God, preach it but are still oppressing the poor and living in sin?
👉Are you a debtor, a slave to lies, stealing, cheating, abortion, immodest dressing, disrespecting people, etc.?

What do we do

What type of Satan’s food have you eaten?
You ought to vomit every Satan’s food.
Denounce them and say ‘NO’ to all their enticements so as to reap the harvest of eternal life / to make Heaven. (Galatians 6:8-10)

God has provided Divine Food for us, why do you then chase food of destruction, madness and infirmity?

Give up Satan’s food to free yourself.
Desist from eating it, so that it shall be well with you.

HOW DO YOU DO RESIST SATAN’S FOOD?

1.) Through God’s word. ‘Eat’ the FRUITS of the Spirit as said in Galatians 5:22-25. They are:-
love
joy (gladness)
patience (an even temper, forbearance),
kindness
goodness (benevolence),
faithfulness
(meekness, humility),
self-control (self-restraint, continence).

👉If you belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) you must crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires….. SATAN’S FOOD

2). By living a recognised life. Enrol as an army, soldier , warrior of God and do the work of God, for He has sent you to do so (John 20:21-22).

• People should recognise you as a good Christian, because Jesus was recognised by all and sundry.

When you live a recognised life, the BLESSINGS OF THE CREATION shall be your portion.

Do you know the blessings of creation?
After creating man in Genesis 1:27-30, God told the man
*be fruitful
*increase
*multiply and
*subdue the earth.💃🥁

With these commands above, you should be either giving out a blessing, receiving the blessing, or even doing.
When a problem to frighten you, tell that problem, that God has already made you fruitful and productive.

Blessings of creation

Speak to that threat, problem, trouble, sickness and it will flee.
Remember, James 4:7-9

Friend, BEWARE OF SATAN’S FOOD. It may attractive, but it is very poisonous.
It is found everywhere even in some churches, some use charms to perferm miracles; some brothers do sleep with sisters; some ushers, do take offering money, etc

“To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his devices and intentions. (2 Corinthians 2:11)”
👉If you are aware, then you will not be taken unaware. Be guided

Therefore

I pray for you today, even as l pray for myself, that we shall not be enticed or lured with any of SATAN’S FOOD.

I pray for you today, even as l pray for myself, that any of the Satan’s that we have eaten, knowingly or unknowingly, physically or in the dream, shall leave our bodies this moment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord give you His Spirit that you may live according to His standard in this tempting world in Jesus name amen.

🙏 I bless you this day with the blessings of Numbers 6:24-26:-

Vs.24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;

Vs. 25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;

Vs.26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
