Are you Appreciating or Deprecating as a Wife?

When something is appreciating, it is adding value. But when something is depreciating, it is losing value.
For those that are married for over 30years now. How has it been? Have you loose your value or you are more important to your husband now?

I was in the midst of some men sometime ago. My husband was there too. These men asked themselves, “If you are to pay your wife’s bride price again, will you add money or reduce the money?”

I was shocked with the answers l heard. Some men were bold to say that they will reduce it. others said, they won’t pay again. Another group said, they need to dialogue.

Of course some would vow never to even marry that same person again, even in their next generation.

You as a wife should know if you are doing the right.
You are the person that married him and are living with him. How are you playing your part to make him want you again and again? Man’s need is insatiable. But keep working hard and looking up to God.

The Standard

Proverbs 12:4 says, “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband. But she that makes him ashamed is as rottenness in his bones“.
If you are his crown he will increase the bride price.

Understanding is the main thing in marriage. If you are submitting and obeying your husband, making him your head, he will increase your bride price.
Proverbs 31:11 says, “The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her. So that he shall have no need of spoil”.

If you are a good, obedience, supportive woman, your husband must want to be with you.
No man likes a competitive woman.
Some people that have rich parents and siblings abroad do make mouth and boost for their Husband. This makes him feel insecure or inferior

Marriage is simple and easy if you know your part and play it well. You chose this man yourself. What went wrong? What is the problem now?
Build your home. Love your husband, do him good and God will perfect all for you in Jesus name.
